Writer/Director Peter Livolsi was born in New York City and raised in the suburbs of San Francisco and Chicago. He’s an alum of Loyola Marymount University, the American Film Institute, and the Sundance Screenwriters lab.
Supported by the Tribeca Film Institute, Sloan Foundation, Film Independent, and the Sundance Institute, Peter’s feature film debut THE HOUSE OF TOMORROW is now in select theaters. It stars Academy Award Winner Ellen Burstyn, Nick Offerman, Asa Butterfield, Alex Wolff, Maude Apatow, and Michaela Watkins and has received praise
from the Los Angeles Times, the Village Voice, Variety, Entertainment Weekly, RogerEbert.com, and the Hollywood Reporter among others.
His shorts have been featured in Esquire, The Onion, IndieWire, and Vimeo Staff Picks and played festivals like Tribeca, Austin, and BFI London. His AFI thesis won a Student Emmy.
Peter also co-directs commercials with his friend Martin Dix as “Peter Martin”, creating award-winning spots for AT&T, VISA, McDonalds, FedEx, ESPN, and more.
